Please critique my (short) story opening?
It's taken from "The Prevaricators", my young-adult drama/black comedy/romance/thriller novel.

ONE: THE PRESENT

The fabric of her flesh was so soft; so pure, glowing in the sunlight. I brushed the burgundy tresses from her seraphic face with my wool-clad fingers. Her eyes were wide and blue and sad. Lying in the lake of crimson, she was beautiful.

The sharp jolt tore Elle from her thoughts. Back to reality.

I literally just begun writing this, but I've been planning it for a while. This is all I have so far.
The story is written all most entirely in third person, but each chapter begins with a short first person monologue from the POV of one of the main characters [in italics]. In this case, the character is Elle.
Comments, suggestions etc are encouraged. Be as harsh as you like, I can take it.
well, ur writing is very flowery.. i mean u literally only gave us a few sentences. but so far, its very flowery...which is a good thing. it goes against Hemingway's writing of minimalism......(giving as little detail as possible).

WONDERFUL VINTAGE 70s BURGUNDY FITTED WOOL COAT
Where can I find a fitted women's blazer/jacket like this?
I was in Neiman Marcus the other day, and there was a Theory jacket I was totally in love with, but they only had the smallest size left. It was a short little blazer, in a plum/burgundy plaid (if my memory serves me correctly), with leather elbow patches.
I can't find it anywhere online...So if anyone knows where I can get it, please let me know!
Or if you know of other cute, fitted blazers (like in a wool or tweed) for colder weather.
