Wool Blend
Is a 72% wool, 28% nylon blend going to be a nice coat?
Will it be less itchy than 100% wool? Will it have a nicer appearance than a wool/acrylic blend?
There's a coat on E-Bay I'm interested in...but I don't know much about wool/wool blends.
Yes to all three.
Check the seller's return policy. If they accept returns, then buy the coat and you can always return it for another one from them or just get your money back. With that blend, it should be warm, softer than 100% wool, but still look like a good wool coat.

Fabric content is 51% Silk, and 49% wool. Many thanks.
The dress is sleeveless, and has a chiffon bodice. The skirt part of the dress is the silk/wool blend.

it all depends on the the style of the dress is it...dose it have arms is it strapless??

No, the list of suggested fabrics are those that will work well with the pattern. If you want denim shorts, and the list includes denim, buy the length specified for the size.
Why this is important: Patterns are intended for a particular fabric, or a fabric that drapes like a particular fabric. If you were to make up the same pattern in three different fabrics — let's say a stiff fabric like Levis 501s typically come in, a medium weight fabric like a lightweight cotton twill and a very drapey fabric, like a lightweight t-shirt knit, and the pattern is intended for medium drape fabric, the Levi 501 fabric will look like clown pants, and the t-shirt knit ones will look skimpy, like you bought 'em at worse than Walmart. When you're ready to pick your own fabrics, look for a fabric that drapes like one of the fabrics specified on the pattern.
Fabrics come in various widths, and the yardage charts typically give you yardage for 45" and 60" wide fabric. At least as a beginner, don't try to skimp when buying fabric… better a little too much than too little. If the fabric you're looking at is in some odd width like 52", ask the help of someone who has sewn for awhile to help you choose the amount to buy. If you can't find someone who really knows (and a lot of chain fabric stores don't have anyone working there who sews!) then buy the amount specified for the next narrower width… so in the case of 52" wide denim, buy the yardage specified for 45", not 60".
