Traditional Burgundy

How should I have my prom make-up done?

I've got a deep red/ burgundy traditional princess ball gown, and a white fur stole, gold and diamond tiara..gold shoes with diamante etc, and I've got dark brown hair, blue eyes, freckles and pale skin; I want suggestions on how to do my prom makeup as I want to achieve an old-school hollywood glamour/english rose look.

Well if you look at all the celebrites during Red Carpet they all have really fancy dresses but they still keep their makeup natural. Wearing natural makeup makes you think "hey, she looks gorgeous" compared to "hey, nice makeup"." Plus too much makeup at prom will end up looking bad because your going to end up sweating from dancing all night. Plus you have so much going all already with what your wearing that you don't want to make it clash.
