Rug Carpet Wool

I washed my wool carpet ( i think its wool idk lol) and now its kinda poofing up?

my dog had diarrhea , long story short , after washing his S**t I got the carpet cleaner and finished the job. No stain , no smell nothing. Well my mom is flipping out cuz the rug is kinda moving up sorta, like theres a bump . And its a $ 200 rug so shes mad , anyway she realized its still wet and thats why its bumping up , is there a way to dry it quicker?! or will it never be the same again Please help! thanks!
