My cat has fleas....?

My cat is a male half persian and half tabby so he has very long fur, He has had fleas for about a month now and i cant get them to go away.
But the problem is that its affecting everyone in the household by biting us. I have loads of little red bites all over my legs and body like eveyone in my house.

I've tried, flea collars, flea spray, flea once (the gel you put on your cars neck), flea spray for your home and we vaccum the carpets twice a day. We are still getting bitten and it is really hurting us.
Is there anything we can try EXCEPT taking him to the vet cos ive already done that tooo.

Have you tried revolution? It not only treats fleas but will prevent heartworms, ear mites and worms. They also have a pill called capstar that usually helps. I use revolution and it works for my 5 dogs and 5 ferrets. The also make a garlic pill that you can get at pet stores or walmart that you can give but I would suggest this daily when you get them under control as a preventive. You can also try mixing equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water and spray on your cat. this will also help with irritated skin from the fleas.

If I have off-white carpet (not by choice), and red couches, what color should I paint my walls?

I also have a red and brown Persian rug and dark brown coffee table and end tables, and red curio cabinet and dark red entertainment center too....i like red, what would be a good wall color?

I would recommend going with neutral colors for most your walls such as whites, grays or tans. An accent wall can really help the room "pop" and make it seem like a larger space. Accent in a strong color on one wall only. Consider using a nice reddish-brown with a deep hue to pull the furniture together with the rest of the room. Good luck!
