Pink Floral Border

help decorating teen room?

well this year im aloud to decorate my room for my 15th birthday, which is in july : )

my room is quite big so i want to make the most of my space that i have

i would be getting this bed:

i think this bed is pretty cool because when i have sleepovers with my friends i can just convert it to the double bed

now for colour schemes i was thinking pink & black but because i wont be getting my room decorated again for a while i think it wouldnt be good to chose those colour combinations. i want my room to give off a girly effect so i thought maybe turquoise and white ? i was thinking i could paint half the wall white, with a floral white border across then the bottom half turquoise. do you guys have any other suggestions x

I like your bed it's pretty neat and I think the walls would look really nice half turquoise and half white.

I think some accent colors for curtains, pillows, bed spread that would work really well with the white bed, turquoise wall and floral border would be purple and pink. It would give it a real fresh, feminine, summery look.

If you want something more splashy and contemporary, orange and bright purple would be really intense with the turquoise.

How do I make a floral granny room into shabby chic?

I have just moved into a rented property which has a dressing room. It has a fluffy dark dusky pink carpet, cream walls and a pink granny-ish floral wallpaper border. I can't paint or re-carpet so I was thinking of making it shabby chic. Preferably with black accessories as I have a vintage black sewing machine that could go quite nicely in there.

Get a big black cast iron bed and satin bedding! It will look cool!!
