Oval Black Ivory

Am I okay looking?

I don't have any photos for looksees, but I'm 5'5 and a half, have dark brown hair to the middle of my back, dark brown/hazel eyes, and I weigh 140 pounds. I also have an hour glass shape. I have thick arched eyebrows and (I've measured) half inch long black eye lashes. My narowest part of waist is 27 inches, widest being 33 inches. I have an oval face, and audrey hepburn bangs that are in loose "pieces" across my forehead. And I've kept my "child cheeks", which means I don't have boney cheek bones. I have ivory skin with a bit of olive tinge to it, like an Italian. My weight bothers me most. Am I okayish looking?

Kate darlin' - You're the only person who needs to be happy with the way you look when you look in the mirror. You have a healthy ratio of height to weight. Hazel eyes are gorgeous, I know I have them only mine lean toward amber and green more than brown. Hour glass figures are truly classics. You shouldn't think about your weight as a number, in pounds or in size. If you try to lose weight through strict diet and constant exercise you're going to have to keep that up to keep your new weight. Regular exercise and light weight training could help tone up if you feel later that would be more appropriate for your figure.

I would suggest focusing on more on things that make you feel good like volunteering, knitting some items for charity, taking a class for fun (poetry, pottery, jewelry making, web site creating) to help give you a sense of accomplishment and community.

Drink more water, get out in the sun and smile just because - you'll get a lot back in return!
