Hi, your terminology is wrong. There is no such a term as "oriental Turkish music"
In Turkey we use the term oriental (oryantal) only when referring to Arabic music and Arabic belly dancing.
There is Turkish folk music (Türk halk müziği) and then there is Classical Turkish Music (Türk sanat müziği or Klasik Türk Musikisi). If you like the music in which we use bağlama, kemençe and other instruments that you listed it means that you like Turkish folk music.
I can only help you with the terminology, sorry. Because I don't know or heard of any musician who writes english lyrics to our folk music. So I guess you're stuck with the original lyrics.
Having said that I agree with Pala Remzi with his Barış Manço answer. Barış Manço was a highly respected musician whose music is categorized as Anatolian Rock. He is also respected for his lyrics of wisdom, he was kind of a poet at the same time.

Moğollar was once (1970s) popular also in France so I guess they have some LPs in French but I'm sure you'll have a hard time finding them.
