What does "double point" construction" mean in the context of rug weaving?

I am thinking of ordering a rug (http://www.orientalfurniture.com/oriental-furniture/RUG_HAIKU_3X.html) but I don't know if double-point construction means that it will have fibers like a carpet or be more two dimensional like a wool blanket. Do you know?
