Has anyone ever had a twister touch down where they were fishing?

Yesterday, I was fishing in my canoe, by myself on a stocked Speck lake. It was a nice calm day. I thought I heard a Moose smashing through the bush, looked up and the trees in one spot were swaying and breaking, just in one spot! Then it came onto the lake so fast that I was in shock, staring at it while trying to pull up my anchor. There was water flying 50ft in the air and it sounded like a huge waterfall!

Up here in northwestern ontario we don't usualy get those things. At least I've never seen one! Man that was scary!
It did a little bit, but I'm guessing it's not as big as the ones ymusic is used to. I heard the water mostly because it was about 50 ft up in the air! The weird thing is that it was a mostly calm, sunny day.
DID SOUIND LIKE A TRAIN that is! If my above sentance makes no sense!LOL

i live in S.E. Oklahoma and several years ago, I was trying to get back to the truck in a storm and a funnel cloud jumped over the lake. at that point, i opened her on up and got to the truck. a friend of mine who was on broken bow lake witnessed a tornado turn into a water spout when it touched down on the lake. he said that nearly messed his pants.
