Mat Throw My son threw up on my King size foam cone mattress pad- on a big part- how do i clean it?
I know i could hand wash it- but then how would i dry it? He got sick on a pretty large part of it and I would rather just bring it to the laundry mat and throw it in one of their super huge washers and then dry it in a big dryer- will that ruin it? It was a $50 mattress pad- so i don't want it to ruin- please help!!
You could get a Bissell Little Green cleaner/extractor, this works on mattressess and carpets and couches etc. and costs about $75, which could pay off if you need to use it more than once or twice to salvage stained items.
I doubt they would let you put that in the dryer at the laundrymat, they don't even let me do large comforters the place near my house. They might let you wash it but then you would have to bring it home and let it air dry. They might have you dry clean it instead since the foam might ignite with the high heat. Maybe you could call the company who makes the mattress pad...they might have a 1-800# where they can give you advice or info on their website.

Is there a difference in a gym tumbling matt and grass. I can throw a bhs on the mat all day but not on ground
when you say gym tumbling mat are you talking about a springfloor? if you are then the difference is the springfloor gives you more of a jump therfore its easier.
if your talking abotu just a regular mat then theres a difference but its really not that big and most of it is in your head, just pretend the ground is a mat and throw your backhandspring.
