Humayun's Tomb: It is a beautiful complex of buildings built as the tomb of mughal emperor Humayun by his widow Hamida Banu Begum. It is known for its architectural excellence. Along with Humayun's Tomb, the complex also houses tombs of his wife (Hamida Banu Begum), Dara Sikoh (son of Emperor Shah Jahan) and many mughal emperors and personalities.

Another world heritage monument in Agra is Agra Red Fort built by mughal emperor Akbar is red sandstone. The fort complex houses many beautiful palaces and structures and is known for its architectural excellence.
