Light Bamboo Area

can you help with decorating ideas for my apartment?

I've been living at my apartment for almost 2 years and I'm tired of my white walls... i asked management if i could paint them and they said yes. so i was thinking about what color to use. My futniture is black with light brown,my couch is black with tan colors... I want to paint just a couple walls tan and leave some white...
My restroom is white too but my shower tiles are baby blue... should i leave that one white? ...

My bedroom ... i have the same furniture.black and light brown.. my comforter is green, like bamboo green and on the other side is light baige with bamboos... i think tan would look pretty too . my dinning room area has two walls... and i was thinking about painting one of them tan and leaving the other one white... thank you so much for your help !

Neutral colors are great, relaxing and go with almost any other colors.

Mix the color of blue with green for a natural, watery palette. Add gray for understated elegance.
Sky blue and robin's egg blue, especially when combined with neutral light brown, tans, or beige are environmentally friendly color combinations.
Throw in a dash of blue to cool down a hot red or orange scheme. Grab attention with the contrast of blue and yellow.

I think in the dining room you should do a shade lighter or darker than you have used in the rest of the house. Make it stand out so it's not just like everything else. Otherwise, you will get tired of it just like you have gotten tired of the just plain white. Hope I helped a little..
