What houseplants are suitable for a kitchen or bathroom?

Both my kitchen and bathroom can get rather humid at times, as well as rather warm. Can anyone recommend any particular houseplants that are suitable for such an environment?

Peace Lillies and of course, carnivorous plants like venus fly traps and pitcher plants will really enjoy the steam in the bathroom and kitchen.

Don't get a hooded dracula though, because they prefer things on the cooler side.

You also need to sit your carnivorous plants in a saucer of water, as they are bog plants typically.
