Half Silk im half black half white and i was just wondering what i can do to make my hair grow faster?
when i was younger, my hair used to grow really fast because i never straightened it! but now that i do flat iron it everyday it doesnt grow... at ALLl!!! i have tried doo groo, maine and tail, hair oil, and silk raps for when i go to bed, and nothing is working! i want it to GROW so bad! please help!!! give any advice you have
THANK YOU!!!!
You need to stop straightening it. I doubt that your hair isn't growing at all as you have said..hair doesnt just sit in the follicle not growing at all, if it wasnt growing at all it would fall out and you would be bald.
Focus more on keeping the hair thats there and preventing it from breaking off, dont use heat on your hair. When it stops breaking you will see that it IS growing.

How to take care of silk comforters
Silk Comforters were once considered a luxury affordable only by a select few but now with technology and new manufacturing methods with the prices falling, silk comforters are a must have for all. If compared fiber to fiber then silk is even stronger than steel. Silk comforters are durable and last a long time however despite their durability you have to take good care of your silk comforters.
There may be many kinds of silk comforters but the true silk comforter is one which is filled with silk floss. Many retailers will have cotton filled comforters covered with silk fabric. These however are not the true silk comforters. Pure silk comforters are filled with silk floss and generally covered with silk habotai fabric. Normally your silk comforters will last for a long time, a period of at least 5-10 years.
The first thing you need to remember about your silk comforter is to read the instruction labels. Silk comforters are typically dry clean only. That means you can’t throw it into your washing machine and run it like you would with your typical comforter. It is not necessary to dry clean your silk comforter very often. So it is a practical choice for your silk bedding. A silk duvet cover is recommended to increase the life of your silk comforter. Silk duvet cover increases the life of the silk comforter by protecting the silk comforter form the frequent washes ands wear and tear that is caused by the silk comforter rubbing against the body. The silk duvet cover can be easily replaced and washed as your desire. You can mix and match it as often as you wish.
Professional dry cleaning is recommend to wash and clean the silk comforter. Dry cleaning may leave behind some residue chemicals. So a preferred method which is getting more and more popular these days is professional wet cleaning. All dry cleaners may not be experienced with silk comforters so make sure you do your homework about the dry cleaner before giving it to them. Most times when silk comforters get ruined it is because of the wrong cleaning process.
As you use your soft, fluffy and silk comforter you will find that it begins to loose its fluffiness. This is because silk absorbs the moisture from the body and it causes to loose its fluffiness. There is no need for alarm as this can very easily be reversed. All you need to do is put it out in the sun and the silk comforter will be restored to its natural glory and fluffiness. This process is called “ sun curing.” When putting the silk comforter in the sun make sure you protect it so it is not damaged, do not put it out in the sun for more than 2 hours. IF there is no sun then you can run it through the dryer in low heat for half hour.
Taking care of silk comforters may seem scary but once you know what you are doing it is very simple and you can enjoy your silk comforter with all its benefits. With the trend moving to being more healthy and green, the obvious choice for your bedroom is definitely silk bedding which includes silk sheets, silk pillow cases and silk comforters.
