Fine Oriental Rug
Should I fire my maid for this? Complete and utter disrespect for my wishes!?
My maid told me she was pregnant, while I was a little miffed at who would possibly find her attractive I told her that was fine and she could have a month off after her due date, September 23rd. Well, she went into labour this morning, her water broke all over my oriental rug and it's going to be really expensive to clean it up but that's not the worst of it.
She had the baby 2 and a half months early. I can't give her time off now, the replacement maid isn't set to come for 2 and a half more months! Having a baby a week or so early is no big deal, one of my surrogates did that with my son. But 2 and a half months is disgusting. Who is going to wash the oriental? Nevermind the oriental, there is laundry to be done and my house is going to get filthy.
Do you think this is grounds to fire her?
