Bearded Dragon Background? ?

Im thinking about creating my own bearded dragon vivarium and I wold like to create a background kindof like this one

I really wana makeone ... its almost as if its been made out of paper mache? Can anyone help!? thanks xxx

The ones you are looking at have been made out of polystyrene sheets, cement mixes, plastic spray foam, lots of paint and lots of waterproof coating.

If you keep looking on that website, there is definately a few places you can find the materials required and a step by step guide - you just need to look.

Paper mache might work... but it will take a long time to layer it and allowing it to dry so that it isn't still damp in the middle.

I'm afraid i don't have a very high opinion of them myself - i'm a bit paranoid about making my animals unhealthy or unhappy and all the materials they use just are not recommended as not being toxic in a heated environment.

I much prefer paying out a bit of money and being 100% sure it is not going to reduce my beardies life expectancy with things like natural woods to create platforms instead.
