Comfort Mat My 7 month old wants me to hold her constantly?
My 7 month old constantly wants me to hold her, the moment I even bend over to put her down she starts screaming. I know about the whole picking up when she cries so she knows your there etc, and its a comfort thing, but its all day not 2hrs at a time or 3 times a day, its all day the moment you put her down she screams but the moment you pick her up she instantly stops and starts to laugh and giggle, its an attention thing, she is feed, she is clean, so I know its not that because she still cries soon after. Example she could be fine when I take her upstairs to change laughing giggling, but the moment I lay her down on the changing mat she screams.
Another thing to take into account she does not shed a tear its pure tantrum screaming for me to pick her up.
I just need advise on how to break this bad habit.
Get a sling so your hands are free. It's a phase and it won't last forever. Infants can't be spoiled and are incapable of manipulation.
