Border Greek

Where can I buy plates for smashing at a greek wedding (in Canada)?
A friend of mine is getting married in Northern BC (close to Alberta border) and I was wondering if anyone knew where she could get plates for smashing at her big fat greek wedding?
You can find really cheap, easily breakable plates at dollar stores or second hand stores. The issue is they would shatter into tiny shards and slivers of glass and a lot of people could get glass slivers.
You need to get shatter proof plates, which still break but don't break into a million tiny pieces. They cost more but are worth it to avoid unnecessary injury. Look in department stores like walmart, zellers, etc.
Good luck!

The Greek Way (Paperback) $17.86 "Five hundred years before Christ in a little town on the far western border of the settled and civilizaed world, a strange new power was at work. . . . Athens had entered upon her brief and magnificent flowering of genius which so molded the world of mind and of spirit that our mind and spirit today are different. . . . What was then produced of art and of thought has never been surpasses and very rarely equalled, and the stamp of it is upon all the art and all the thought of the Western world."A perennial favorite in many different editions, Edith Hamilton`s best-selling The Greek Way captures the spirit and achievements of Greece in the fifth century B.C. A retired headmistress when she began her writing career in the 1930s, Hamilton immediately demonstrated a remarkable ability to bring the world of ancient Greece to life, introducing that world to the twentieth century. The New York Times called The Greek Way a "book of both cultural and critical importance." |

Are the Greek borders open for troll migration?
I am just asking this Q for the simple reason of being surprised how infested and plagued is your Greek travel section.
More now than ever before, when I enjoyed surfing your site.
You must really like it or else, you must be really bored.
Some do feed birds, some squirrels, some feed the monkeys.
Only YOU people are feeding the trolls.
@
And Vasiliki - please, control your conspiracy urges.
I am based in "down under" - not in America.
How can I be Your new troll?
I am not Ms.Whatever
So stop using the Olga name!
As long as I know it could be even you (the new troll), just to bring some fresh wind into the rotting place.
The Question is:
"Are the Greek borders open for troll migration"?
And nobody did asked the Q accept Granny and Hip.
Only my friends can call me Olga.
Familiarity is the mother of rot.
Personally I would like Greece to have a Great Wall just like China, to keep the mongrels out. But that isn't practical.
As for what is going on in here, some do feed birds, some squirrels, some feed the monkeydonians. and yes some do feed the trolls. Right now I am feeding a Platypus, an animal on the verge of extinction as a matter of fact.

The Military of Nazi Germany, at its peak, was filled with SS divisions of pure hate and evil, hand picked to annihilate any force.
Greece could have had every son of every immigrant come to defend Greece with modern weapons, and still Germany would have crushed Greece militarily.
In modern warfare,Greece actually has a pretty poor record Kimon.
Kimon , Nazi's were putting women and children in gas chambers, i seriously doubt from everything iv read and watched about WW2,that the elite divisions of the SS were afraid of the Greek Army…
