Black Wool

Can I or should I wear a black wool dress (cap sleeve, lined and low cut) to work tomorrow?

its gonna be like 85-90 degrees here in new york tomorrow and I am a lil confused as to weather or not I should. please help. its a kool dress but I dont want folks looking at me like Im insane...
the wool is a lite wool fabric and when i say low cut i dont mean overly exposed i am covered. i always dress and look sophisticated however i am more concerned about fabric...

Question one--is low cut okay in your work environment? If yes, many wool fabrics work well year-round, particularly in air conditioned buildings. Men wear tweeds and gabardines and twills. So question two is, is the fabric a good-year round gab or twill, in other words, a tight weave as opposed to a bulky knit? If it is, you should be fine...and after all, black is a New York fashionista's best friend, right?

And with your clarification, I think the dress sounds nice.
