What are some ideas for a guitar/rockstar themed party for a 2 year old?

I am throwing my son a guitar themed party for his second birthday (he is into guitars and loves playing guitar hero everyday) The party is at a park and we will not be playing the game. Please help with cheap favors and decoration ideas. I plan on creating the invitations on black card stock in the shape of a guitar (assistance with wording would be appreciated) Also we plan on ordering pizza but if anyone knows another cheap alternative other than burgers and hotdogs let me know. I already know of oriental tradiing company and will probably be using them but any other suggestions let me know. Remember it is for a 2 year old and all important guests will not be over age 12. A cheap pinata place is also a request. Oh yeah and I am in the southern california (san gabriel valley) area so don't send me to far.

There is a magazine called family fun, and this months edition had an article on having a rock star b-day.

It is a little girly, but you can masculinize it. I like the idea of making cardboard instruments, you could also pick up some cheap instruments at the dollar store (every guitarist needs a band), go to the park, throw down a large piece of cardboard box as a 'stage', and have the kids put on a talent show where each one 'wins' whatever treat bag you are dishing out, the kids and parents will love that. You have to have a cake in the shape of a guitar, and if you are doing this on a budget (as most of us are) you could go to a thrift store & look for some outragous outfits for the kids to wear out on the stage, you could cut a shirt into a vest, get a feather boa, big crazy hats, and don't forget the sunglasses, which you can actually get in a party pack at walmart. You might want to research how to make a pinata, and make it in the shape of a guitar, but if you don't have time for all that (who does?) just get a blank pinata, print out the guitar hero logo & glue it on! Also, toys r us has guitar hero action figures, love Johnny Napalm, you could put them on the cake! As far as the invitation, print out a picture of your son holding the guitar hero controller or a guitar, and type at the top 'Come rock the park for _____'s birthday!' Make sure you list your activities, because no one will want to miss that.
