Question on bedding...?

My family and I are moving into a new house and I'm designing my room. My walls are white, I have a trey cieling and part of it is painted Tiffany blue, and my floors are a dark reddish brown hardwood. I'm going for a more vintage antique design, so most of my furniture is wood and older. Tiffany blue is my pop of color, and I have it in many forms (Tiffany boxes, a few picture frames, etc.).

I'm trying to decide what color my bedding should be. Should it be blue, or more of a cream color? What about my rug? Can you leave links to examples of bedding? Thanks =]

I love Tiffany blue! I think you should go for a blue bedding set. It would balance out the ceiling and look great with the accessories. I think a rug that is maybe cream or white, with maybe some blue accents would be really pretty.

How do I make a light blue carpet and brown and gold furniture work?

I am moving into a house with a pale blue carpet. But my couch is chocolate brown, my curtains are brown and gold and I have an antique gold mirror and pictures frames on the walls. How do I tie these colors in together? Like what color throw pillows should I use for the couch. Should I buy a big area rug to cover up as much carpet as possible?

Keep what you've got, the way you've got it.
Add some light blue, gold, or brown throw pillows, or combos of these, and some lt. blue candles, vases, and other small accessories.
Gold goes with everything, and brown is pretty versatile too.
